  3. There is an optional weekend trip to Madrid. The additional expense to participate is $190, based on 15 participants, 3 days, 2 nights in Madrid.
  4. Classes are Monday-Thursday. No Friday classes.

  6. Students must take 12 units and maintain a 2.5 GPA while in the program.
  7. Photography 5 course requires a 35-millimeter camera and film developing costs. Ron Herman from Foothill will teach the photography courses. Email him with questions, 0h07991@mercury.fhda.edu.
  8. Homestays are all within walking distance of the campus. Laundry service is provided once a week by the "seņora." Should you need to wash clothes on your own, it is very expensive, $15-$20. If you require a non-smoking family, be sure to put it on your application. Rooms are small, very small, will share a bathroom.
  9. Our program has over 40 paid participants, so it is definitely happening.
  10. There is room for 6 more participants from LTCC. See Nancy if you have friends whom are interested.
  11. Air travel will most likely be with British Air.
  12. Visas are not needed for this trip. If you plan to be in the country for more than 90 days, you must have a visa, or leave the country. You can leave the country and then return for another 90 days.
  13. If not a citizen of the U.S., be sure to have a green card from your Consulate. Also, check with the Spanish Consulate for any documentation needed.
  14. Register now at both Foothill College and De Anza College. Just get your name in the system so that you can easily register for classes in the fall. You will need to print a signature page to mail to each campus. If you need assistance, stop by the office and Nancy will help you.

  18. Look for prices for students under 25 years of age.

There are many options for train passes. Check the Internet sites for all options.
