Summer mailing address and phone By end of spring quarter We will need to contact you to let you know the date of the fall orientation. AIFS may have questions about your application. Be sure that Nancy and Dounald both have your summer mailing address and phone information.
Travel in Europe this summer? NOW If you will not be on campus with us at the beginning of fall quarter, it is your responsibility to contact your instructors for permission to miss class, request assignments, purchase textbooks, etc. Instructors will not be available during the summer quarter. Do it now!
Passport NOW Don't wait until the last minute to apply for a passport. We'd hate to leave you behind. L
Cash deposit checks July 11 Checks cashed. If you want to withdraw from the program, give a statement in writing by June 27. Read your contract for refund details.
2.5 GPA July 11 Must have a 2.5 GPA and 12 college units to participate. See the Dr. Larry Buckley, Dean of Humanities if you are concerned.
Flight Sign-Up Sheet July 11 Turn in completed form to  
Willie Carroll, Foothill College, Study Abroad,  Foothill College,  by July 11. She will mail them to AIFS by the August 8 deadline.
Final payment to AIFS By August 28 Mail balance due ($2395 + airfare and optional expenses) directly to AIFS

Fall Orientation - entire group from LTCC, Foothill and DeAnza September 29 We will answer your questions about the program: what to bring, families, living in Salamanca. As soon as the date is set, we will contact you by mail with the information.
Register for classes By September 1 Look for a registration packet in the mail the week of August 13.  Due back to Dounald Thomas at LTCC by Sept. 1.  Questions?  Call Dounald, 541-4660, Ext. 370.
Changes to application After July 11 Contact AIFS directly
Classes begin at LTCC Monday, September 24 Meet with Nancy for your classes at LTCC until we leave for Spain. 
Travel to Spain! Friday, October 12 Fly over together, if you purchased the AIFS airfare package. If you are not flying with us, meet us in Madrid. Details available at the orientation.
Stay in touch All summer long Stay posted to the web site for updates.  Check in with Dounald every few weeks.
