Thanks to everyone who attended the Oct. 9th (2007) meeting, where the following ideas
were shared:
have a competition / rail jam (at LTCC or at
a resort)
build boxes / rails
have a fundraiser
have a swap meet (like UNR's)
clothing sales
buy / sell / trade equipment at club meetings
take a big group trip
carpooling to local resorts
take a backcountry trip / safety class / workshop
baked goods sales to raise $
obtain pass discounts from local resorts for club members
participate in other snow activities like snowshoeing, snowmobiling, etc.
make videos / edit / produce
sponsor a Big Production Movie Night (like Warren Miller movie) fundraiser
enroll in a special topics class from LTCC (avalanche, Dave Beck)
produce a newsletter
produce a calendar
feature weather forecasts online @ club Web page
