NOTE: In the Fall 2007 quarter, 12 students earned F's (<60%) on the
first exam. Of these 12 students, only one student passed the class (with
a grade of "C").
In Fall 2008, 6 students earned F's on the first exam; NONE of these students
passed CHM101 that quarter. 16 students earned D's or F's (<70%) on this
exam; of those 16, only ONE student passed the class (with a "C").
If YOU fail the first exam this quarter, there is a
