To maintain a smoothly operating nursery school for the benefit of both chidlren and parents. Tahoe Parents Nursery School has adopted the follwing policies. These policies may be changed at any time, by action fo the Baord of Directors.

STANDARDS FOR ADMISSION

All forms must be completed and returned to the Forms Chairperson and the other items below must be satisfied BEFORE parent and child may participate. TPNS conforms to the Lake Tahoe Unified School District (LTUSD) policy.

Verification of child's birth date.

Child's physical examination forma nd immunization record.

Parent's report of child's healt history.

TB skin test or chest X-Ray for parent and child.

Field trip form in duplicate.

Identification and emergency form in duplicate.

Vehicle liability insurance verification form.

Verification of parent's valid driver's license or a license for the family's carpool driver, e.g.: babysitter, grandparents, etc.

Passage of auto inspection for vehicles used to transport children to and form school. Carpool Chairperson will arrange for inspections at the beginning of the school year in the fall and again, at the Chairperson's discretion, with the onset of winter. Any members who enroll therafter during the school year must have their autos inspected prior to admission.

Authorizaiton of Consent ot Treatment Form.

CPR Certifcation for day-time participating parent.

Receipt of acknowledgement of reading the Child Abuse Prevention pamphlet.

Child must be three years of age by December 2nd, regardless of entry date. children must be residents of California.

Parents presently enrolled in the school will have first priority for membership. Parents previously enrolled, but no members within the current year, must call the Membership Chariperson to be placed on the witing list.

Vacancies occurring after the beginning of the school term will be filled fromt eh waiting list.

A balance of age and sex groups, with neither the male nor female make-up in excess of sixty percent (60%), shall be maintained, if possilbe.

After March 1st, four-year-olds will be given priority for admission.

Only children who are enrolled may attend regularly and participate in the program.

Siblings may attend special holiday parties (e.g.; Christmas) if the sibling is singed up in advance.

Any family with more than one enrolled child is required to pay fifty dollars monthly tuition for EACH child, drive a carpool and work one day per week, per child, in addition to the other stated duites.
