TPNS is stating a new fundraising program called SCRIP. "SCRIP" is gift certficates issued by the stores listed on the attached Merchant List. Through the National Scrip Center we have th ability to purchase scrip for a host of merchants including, drug stores, restaurants, etc. that your family already shops at. Our school is avle to buy these certficates at a negotiated discount and resell them to you at full face value. The discount, which averages 5% is the net contribution retained by TPNS.
Your participation in this program doesn't cost you ANYTHING! If you pruchase $100 of Smart & Final scrip (gift certificates) you still have your full $100 to spend at Smart & Final on whatever you want just like cash. Since TPNS has bought the gift certficates for $95, Smart & Final has donated $5 to our school.
Scrip is easy to use, and there are no restrictions in most cases. Unless otherwise noted, it can be used for all store merchandise. You usually can buy anything you want, using scrip just like cash, still using coupons or buying thrings on sale.
Our scrip order will be once a month to start. Please go through your attched Merchant List nad highligh any of the places your family already shops. At the first of each month, the Scrip Chariperson will be taking order ONLY during the week of our business meeting. This meands ALL ORDERS must be returned by THURSDAY of the business meeting week.
All orders must be accompanied by cash or check made paybale to TPNS. NO IOU's. Orders will be compiled on Friday and you will receive the scrip the following week during the Night Meetings. You will be notified when SCRIP is in by phone first.

For each $250 in SCRIP purchased, your family will earn 1 fundraising point.
