The following is a representation of items from the Man Show
Web site. The Man Show remains one of the most misogynistic
shows on television.
You can view the show's Internet site at XXXX. I have included this
feature because it offers a look at some of the most disturbing and sexist
scenarios and representations in popular culture. Some state that the show
is deliberately trying to be sexist in its representations. What do you
think? Discussion Questions:
(1) What is your opinion of the idea that the Man Show, because
it is so obviously sexist, cannot be taken seriously? (2) Does comedy
excuse the forms of sexism that are present in the Man Show and
other television shows? (3) Do you know of people who watch the Man
