This introduction to sociology class will be taught in the city of Amsterdam,
Students will have the opportunity to learn sociology in an interactive and
immersive setting, while taking advantage of the many cultural opportunities
that this historic city offers. Students will explore sociological concepts
through the lived spaces of the city-including architecture, pedestrian sites
and other venues. Students will visit the Amsterdam Center for Architecture,
the Van Gogh Museum, and the historic Anne Frank House including the Resistance
Museum.
