Basics:  from high to low pressure; warm air rises, expands and cools - often low pressure on surface; cold air sinks, compresses and warms up - often high pressure on surface

Thermal Circulation:  Sea Breeze and Land Breeze, Monsoons - seasonal winds ; Mountain breeze and Valley breeze

LandscapeKatabatic winds; high cold (snowy) plateau, adiabatic heating down canyon; Chinook winds (Rockies), leeside low pressure, adiabatic heating; Santa Ana or California norther, elevated region of high pressure, adiabatic heating

Human factors:  Country Breeze,  warm cities at night
