What is the course work and how many units will I earn from LTCC?

Started in 1947 and using over 180 venues across the city, the Edinburgh Fringe Festival provides performances in comedy to opera and everything in-between. The Fringe is the world's largest theatre festival attracting a huge variety of performers from across the globe. 25,362 performances were given in 2004. The festival attracts a huge diversity of entertainers with hundreds of shows expressing a wide range of cultural and artistic performances over the month of August.

Be a part of the festival as LTCC brings over it’s production of Lysistrata’s War, the rock opera written by LTCC’s Dave Hamilton and Mark Williams, which premiered last June.  The show will audition March 14 and 15 2005, with rehearsals in July and performs in Scotland August 7-13. There are roles for seventeen principal singers plus chorus and roles for dancers. There will also be crew positions to run the show.

This is an opportunity to perform before an international audience as well as being able to watch and connect with other performers and shows.

All cast and crew will be registered in the following classes (9 units total):

  • THE 128d Production Techniques (all principal cast and Crew) - 4 units

  • MUS 202 Music Theatre Production (all chorus) - 1.25 units

  • DAN 142 Musical Theatre Dance (all dancers) - 2.75 units
