FINAL EXAM

Attendance is REQUIRED!  (10 points per week)

·         Students are required to sign in each day to receive attendance credit. 

·         Students should be on time for class.  If you are tardy, you will receive half credit for the day.  Tardy is defined as any time past the start of the class.

·         Students who are more than five minutes late on TEST DAY, will not be given a test.  There will be no make-ups.  If you feel that you will be late, you MUST discuss this with the instructor at least 24 hours PRIOR to the exam.

Participation Credit (10 points per week)

·         Every Tuesday students are required to bring in one question they want to go over from the homework.

·         Write your name, date, and question on a piece of paper.

·         Turn in before class begins. 

·         If you are late for class, the question will not be accepted.

·         Answers will be covered in class.

Homework

·         Homework is managed online at MyMathLab.com. 

·         You must purchase a license to use.  It can be purchased either online or in the LTCC bookstore.  You must have internet access to complete your homework.

Test Day:

·         Do not be late for any test

It is a requirement in 187A that all students visit the counselor.  A short summary must be written and turned in by the end of the fourth week of class.

·         Date of counseling visit

·         Counselor’s Name

·         Brief description of topics discussed

·         Reflection statement:  What was the most valuable thing you learned from this meeting?

This is a homework assignment requirement worth 15 points.  Due no later than 1/27/2012
