course is a continuation of MAT 152A. The material covered includes factoring,
operations and equations with rational expressions, linear equations and
inequalities with absolute values, solving systems of linear equations and
inequalities, operations with exponents and radicals, solving radical equations
and solving quadratic equations. Office

For Quizzes there are no
make-ups. However, if the absence is excused, you will receive the same
percentage grade on the quiz as you earn on the exam that covers the same
material. For Chapter Exams and Final,
make-up is possible, but there is a 10% penalty if the absence is not excused. Homework
will be accepted up to one week late (with a 10% penalty), and your lowest
assignment grade will be dropped. Learning
