Course Objective: To empower students to understand polynomials, rational expressions, linear and non-linear systems of equations, and quadratic equations.

Grading Policy

Method of Student Evaluation:

Exam I 60 points

Exam II 60 points

Exam III 60 points

Quizzes (based on homework) 60 points

Final Exam (covers entire course content) 60 points

Your letter grade will be based on your percentage of the possible points. The total possible is 300 points.

A 90-100%

B 80-89%

C 70-79%

D 60-69%

F less than 60%

Registration:

You must register for this class at the Office of Admissions and Records.

The last day to drop the class with no record Friday, October 16.

The last day to drop the class for ìWî grade is Friday, November 20.

After November 20, if you are enrolled, you will receive one of the following grades: A, B, C, D, F, or I (Incomplete is only allowed in special cases).

In this class, it is your responsibility to drop the class in order to avoid a grade. You must go to the Office of Admissions and Records by the above dates to avoid a grade option three or four.

Make-up policy:

Quizzes and exams may only be made-up, with prior arrangement, due to family or medical emergency.
