The TRPA did a comprehensive survey of soil condition in 1976 and classified the soil condition as either Very Poor, Poor, Average, or Healthy.  The percent of each is shown in the table below

Last year they did a study to see if the soil quality has changed.  They surveyed a total of 100 acres of land and the results are shown below:
