Twenty years ago a comprehensive study was done on soil quality in the Tahoe Basin.  It was determined that 30% of all plots of land had poor quality soil, 45% had average quality soil and 25% has excellent quality soil.  Last year a geologist took soil samples from 80 different locations.  She wanted to see if the soil quality has changed.  The results of these samples are shown below.
