A biologist ran an experiment to estimate the difference between the average lifespan of  mice on a normal diet compared with mice that were put on a reduced diet.  The 26 mice that were on a normal diet lived an average of 1.5 years with a standard deviation of 0.6 years.  The 31 mice that were on the reduced diet lived an average of 2.3 years with a standard deviation of 0.9 years.  Construct the relevant confidence interval and use a complete sentence or two to interpret the confidence interval in the context of the question.
