Graphing an Anti-Derivative of a Function
Instructions
In order to be successful with this applet, you will need to have a solid understanding of the geometric interpretations of the derivative. Recall that if the derivative graph is negative then the original graph is sloping downwards and if the derivative graph is positive then the original graph is sloping upwards. If the derivative graph is zero then the original graph will flatten out. Consider using the first derivative test to see if this flat part represents a relative maximum, relative minimum or neither.
