ObjectivesAt the conclusion of this class, each student will have developed a deeper understanding of the history of photographic imagemaking and have the ability to match major events in world history with images of that time. A student will be able to identify these 100 images with an artist, country, date and title as well as discuss the formal and aesthetic qualities of these images. Each student will also delve deeper into a single photographer and be able to share with fellow classmates the 10 most significant aspects of this photographer's life and work.
