What the Scholarship Includes

The International Education Council is offering four scholarships for a two-week study abroad in Cuernavaca, Mexico.  Tuition and lodging are included. 

Participant Will Receive

bulletTwo-week tuition and classroom materials provided by 
UNITER - Center for Bilingual Multicultural Studies, "Centro Bilingüe."
bulletTwo-week home stay with a host family including three meals a day

Conditions

bulletStudents will need to pay a $100 registration fee
bulletApplication are due to IEC by April 30, 2007.

Criteria for Selection

bulletApplicant is a current adjunct or full-time instructor at a California Community College and has been teaching Spanish during at least the last two (2) academic years.
bulletQuality of applicant’s statement including projected impact on applicant’s teaching and contributions to the profession.

The International Education Council reserves the right to withhold making any award or grant if:

1) no qualified applications have been received, or 
2) the funding source for the award or grant withdraws its support.
