Docent Tours

Hands on, interactive experiences for young aspiring artists!  Groups and the public are encouraged to participate.  Every exhibition will be accompanied by a Docent Program Class.  Docent tours will begin in February. 

To participate in a docent tour of the Haldan Art Gallery, come at one of the scheduled tour times below.  Contact the Art Gallery for special group visits or to reserve a docent tour.

School Group Tours

We would like to welcome all school groups to take advantage of the exciting learning opportunity that exists in our gallery and Discovery Center. We invite you to call us and schedule a time to bring your class to the gallery. All tours must be scheduled with Diana Nelson prior to visit. Teachers or class leaders should plan on a minimum of 1 hour for a group tour. A “proper gallery etiquette” handout as well as age-appropriate interactive educational activities will be available to teachers wishing to bring students. Food, beverages and backpacks are not allowed in the gallery. There will be an attendant on hand to receive and secure any personal items not allowed in the gallery during your visit. However, we prefer to have students leave excess personal items at their school or on bus before coming to the gallery.
